Celebrate North Albany 2010

PHOTO ONLY - ALBUM NOT AVAILABLE

The Benton County Republicans honored North Albany at a gathering on Thursday, June 3rd in the gymnasium of the North Albany Community Church. The public was invited to hear Carolyn Oakley, former State Representative and 43-year resident of North Albany recall fond memories of the growth of one of Oregon's most livable communities. As a former law enforcement officer, State Representative Andy Olson, incumbent/candidate, spoke on the excellent public safety record this close-knit community enjoys. Former State Representative, Betsy Close, graciously served as emcee. This meeting did not focus on politics but rather just getting to know the great people of all political persuasions in North Albany. Jean Nelson prepared the interesting graphic tribute to North Albany with assistance from Stella Guenther and PJ Hunter. Republican candidates, Rose Cook (for State Representative) and Jerry Jackson (for Benton County Commissioner) were present and learned much about the residents of North Albany. --Apologies for the blurred photos.
